In your article "The Lord's Prayer", if this is the model outline for praying, with our own words of course, how will people around the world who can't read or write, and who may never have laid eyes on this reverent model know how to pray?

A person will not know to pray to God unless someone has given them a knowledge of God and part of learning about God should include teaching on prayer. Whether they can read or write is not important.

Jesus gave the disciples the Lord's Prayer as a model of how to pray, but we can find other prays that were just as acceptable to God. Take for example Luke 18:9-14. The prayer that was pleasing to God in these verses was very short and simple. God wants us to pray humbly and sincerely.

We have to remember that the Lord's Prayer is just a model, as it is easy to memorise the Lord's Prayer and let our prayer become a meaningless repetition of words.
