When Jesus comes back a number of events will take place. We will look briefly at two of them.

Matthew 25:31-33 and Matthew 16:27 record the gathering of all nations before Jesus to be judged. Jesus compares this judgement with a shepherd dividing a flock of sheep and goats. The 'sheep' represent those people done their best to follow Jesus while the 'goats' represent those who rebel and do their own thing.

Included in this judgement will be people who have died. Daniel 12:2 and Acts 24:15 tell us that there will be a resurrection. This will happen before the judgement.

The reward for those all who please Jesus will be eternal life (Romans 2:7-11) and a place in God's Kingdom (Matthew 25:34).
