If a Christian backslides, a study group said there is no more salvation because it is like crucifying Jesus all over again. So if someone is backslidden and has no chance to go to Heaven to be with God and loved ones then why not die now and get it over with instead of living in Hell on earth knowing you are going to Hell when you die so just go now and get it over with right?
Can I lose my salvation. What about in 2 Timothy 2:12 where is says that If we deny Him, He also deny us. Does that mean that if I deny my Lord I will go to hell. What about Peter who denied the Lord but wasn't damned. What does this verse mean?
Calvinism teaches that there is an eternal security for believers (the once saved -- always saved doctrine) and Arminianism teaches that a believer can lose his/her salvation. There seem to be convincing scriptures supporting both sides of this issue. Just what is the answer to this seeming paradox?
